Color Blocking
Color Blocking is nothing to be afraid of, but rather something that should be embraced. Knowing colors that compliment one another will make the task easier. Such as blue with orange, purple with yellow, and red with green.Usually staying in the same color hue or shade can be one way to achieve the look. Such as pairing a lighter hue violet, with a dark violet. Neutrals with dark tones work well. It's all about keeping an open mind to color, and not being afraid to mix the unusual. I would say a good amount of colors to block together would be 3, but for each person it can vary.
